Welcome to WSPA! Allow me to be the first to thank you for signing the Animals Matter petition, which urges the United Nations to adopt a Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare (UDAW). You have joined the over 1 million people who have already signed the petition to let the world know that animals matter to them.
This campaign has already had a significant impact around the world. The Philippines enacted an ordinance on animal welfare inspired by UDAW, and Costa Rica has included the concept of a Universal Declaration in its "Peace for Nature" initiative.
