A Christmas Message

*******
Thanks to Mick Gallagher.

Some might also 'categorize' macho, egomaniacal republican men as neanderthals too. But remember many Republican "real men" are also gay or pedophilic. Maybe something they dont want to talk about. One other point of contention, actually two:

"Liberals produce nothing." Quite a load of rightwing nonsense. But also let me remind you that Life isn't always about producing, and therefore receiving a stipend or payment of some sort. Sometimes, and maybe more importantly, it's about serving others, giving without measure, without fanfare. Sometimes, it is silent prayer, meditation, sometimes for people we don't even know.

Yes, many people tagged with the label of "Liberal" have many varied Spiritual interests, from mysticism of all world "religions," choosing not to fear the unknown and mysterious metaphysical-- worlds [or] life beyond this one. I am personally proud-- more proud than ever-- to call my Self a "Liberal," because I also believe Jesus "the Christ" and many other mystics, healers, teachers, wayshowers would be considered compassionate liberals, who think with both the heart & the mind. Trying to strike a balance, shi is another way, or chi. Many things we cannot see are there, beyond our comprehension, our human earthly perception. Not everything is measured & proportioned in B&W, nuts & bolts kindasimplicity.

Perhaps the other side of Life will reveal a reality far different than what is conceived by us, and what has been indoctrinated in us by other fallible human beings.

Finally, let us find the good humanness in everyone, without pre-judging, for it is not for us to judge. I am what you say I am, Sir. [I am a liberal.] If that is important to you in the present time, [you have not perceived my total Self.] Let us
see the shared commonality in all humankind, no matter what race, religion, or political persuasion. Because, when you peel away the veneer of outer skin, deep inside, we're all the same. We all have the same needs, wants, and desires. We are much more alike than different. There are insecure, inadequate beings who hold great positions of power---who seem to have a propensity to divide & conquer. Somehow there must be great profit in all this dissonance. But it's all illusory. Every thing is an illusion, a dream we are passing through. Nuthin is real but eternal Love, which is God.

Maybe we are always at odds here because we all are sentenced to this kindergarten planet of make-believe to learn from past mistakes, mired in our "lower nature," that of the seven deadly sins (bad emotions). [These include] greed, desire, hate, anger, jealousy, resentment, bitterness, etc. It's all about free will, our choices. And we will be doomed to repeat the lessons we don't 'get'.

Peace be upon you & yours in this most Sacred Celebration of the Birth of Jesus.
