Healing and Love

Healing and Love
*******

Sally [pseudonym] has been practicing a lot of talk-therapy since visiting here during the last couple of days. She is definitely improving, as she was able to bring up her husband who passed away several times without bursting or melting into tears. Time truly is the great healer for all of us, and for all conditions. It is the balm of Love that puts distance between us and our own interior dragons.

So, there is fullest agreement with your definition of a healer. The best healer is she who can become transparent and allow the Light to shine forth through her, without casting egoshadows in Its way.

A Love lost cannot immediately regrow. It will take time, and it will take time for Sally's Love for her husband to be mended by other forms and types of Love in her heart. For Love continuously mutates into different, sometimes interchangeable, forms. But, even as you and I speak about the matter, the miracle of Love (God) is being healed and re-created in her heart, and she is healing.

For psychospiritual healing is much like physical healing, in that no person can ever "heal" another. In physical medicine, a doc does not heal; she only prepares the environment so that it can support the body's own internal healing processes. Also, spiritually, no ego can heal another; we can only help the healee prepare her mind to be open to the natural processes of healing. Exposure to positive ideas, and positive thinking generally, is a good and powerful therapy.

We can combine this with deliberate relaxation, healing music, good nutrition, humor, light, and other therapies. Each can be a factor in allowing for the Flow of natural mindhealing energy.

Please "send" her healing energy and Love; now, she has progressed to where she can talk about her husband without bursting into tears, and that is real accomplishment.:)
