Regaining Balance and Perspective

It does not seem as if earthlife offers any easy or quick solutions. That is why it is a school. But when people hurt our feelings, the rootcause is often that we are simply thinking too much of the world in relationship to us. The key to the answer is to try to see the world as objectively as possible, that is, exactly as it is. This is done by focusing on the world itself,and not just how it relates to "me." We come to see that, in an infinite cosmos, our "personal stuff" is a nanoscopic collection of trivialities. Most things that would "hurt our feelings" simply do not matter, in the longrun. So, we can afford honorably to dismiss them as petty, as unworthy of the concerns of an infinite mind. Then, we can drop them. Then, we can return to a healthier focus, such as, "I am the Mind of Love incarnate." These thoughts tend to heal, while the others hurt.
