In looking at the overview of the health of the physical body, there might be no simple answers. People who jump on the bandwagon of new "nutritional theories" often make absurd claims that a particular seed, fruit, or vitamin can cure just about anything or everything! And this is a very attractive idea! Although entire books might be written to defend the latest nutritional "fad," actual experience generally disproves that any single or simple substance can serve all people as a "cure-all." Even when "much evidence" is presented, it is not scientific, or does not necessarily apply to all people. Human biochemistry is so complex that virtually any substance might have a positive effect on one, or a few, persons. But this "healing effect" is not generalizable to the public or population in general. Nature, even in her wide, breath-taking abundance and variety, appears to have created no "cure-all."
Why? Because biological imperfection is an important part of the "test" or "exam" of this physical life. We are supposed to learn compassion from this biolife on earth, and limitation teaches compassion. She who has never suffered knows little compassion; she who suffers more can love more.
So, earth is a school. And our "textbooks" include illness and other limitations. And even though it is a great fantasy, the simple truth is that nutrition cannot cure all biological imperfections. For some illnesses and general imperfections are the result of the molecular structure of dna, the molecular "blue-print" for the physical body. This is "designer-dna," for it is designed before birth by the Soulmind (deep in the Unconscious).
The products of dna are called "genetic." Here, we will call them "karmogenetic," for genetics always expresses karma. And dna is a molecule of great complexity; it has nearly a billion smaller molecular sub-units within the molecule.
We are just beginning to understand which sub-molecules influence which characteristics, which can create certain imperfections, disorders, or dysfunctions. To discover these molecular causes was the purpose of the famous "genome project."
If a condition is genetic, it cannot and will not be reversed completely by nutrition; for the problem is structural, not nutritional. And even if the dna could be changed by visualization, as some believe, one would have to know the detailed construction of this very vast molecule in order to change the appropriate sub-molecule.
Visualization can be a powerful healing-technique, but it cannot reverse all conditions; neither can "positive thinking." For simply denying a condition, as the Christian Scientists do, does not make that condition miraculously disappear! (If it were that simple, everyone would have perfect health, all the time!)
It is important to love your body. This is a form, and aspect, of selflove. You want to feed it with food that is natural, good, and of high quality. But if your Soul has chosen a condition for your body, and it has been expressed "karmogenetically," then your lesson on earth is to learn to live with that state, and to adapt to it. Your challenge might not be to force the condition to change, or to heal it. Your challenge might be to learn to adapt to it, to live with it, even to draw compassion from your suffering.
Historically, this is why some of the most beautiful, enlightened, and powerful Souls have suffered from biological limitations. These wise sages and mysticsaints did not simply lack the "good sense" or the "faith" to be able to heal themselves. Some conditions simply do not respond to mental changes, while others do.
We do have some biological control over our bodies, but it is limited; it operates only within certain parameters. Beyond them, we cannot go.
Why? Because, as in all other facets of our lives, we are here to learn faith or trust. We are here to learn to trust the cosmic Mind of Love.
Only those who do not trust It will try to grasp control of the world and give it to the ego. And this is spiritual illness-- much more serious and long-lasting than any physical illness.

Fun!
*******
One impulse that is very important in life, that we often ignore, is the quest to make this life as enjoyable (fun) as possible, out of selflove.:):)

Overwork and Burnout
*******
Many aspects of our lives are optional. In lifedesign, we can choose to include some factors, and exclude others.
But what is about to be said here is not optional. It is mandatory.
You, like so many loving, good, service-oriented people, are about to break and ignore the core-law that guides the people of Love. This can create some disastrous karma, for it is chosen willingly.
For you are ignoring selflove. Selflove is the nucleus of Love.
Selflove is the very Love of God reflected upon the self or Self. This is not a factor that can be safely, reasonably, sanely, or lovingly ignored.
Selflove is inignorable and indispensable. To follow Jesus' "love your neighbor as yourself" contains the implicit guideline that we should be loving ourselves. Historically, even some of the people of Love thought that they could ignore this vital principle. But their lives proved them disastrously wrong!
Your life, and your body, are not "your own." They both "belong," in real ways, to the Goddess, to lovers, to friends, and, to some extent, to the world, to our species and to others.
So, from a spiritual perspective, it is illogical, and antiagapic
(counter-Love) selfishly to claim that "It is my body, and I can do whatever I want with it."
For it is as serious, and deeply karmic, an error ("sin") to abuse your body as it would be to harm the body of any other living creature. Now, I know that you would never practice torture, or harm bodily anyone who came to you for help.
Now, your own mind has called, repeatedly, for your help. But you have responded with abuse-- by driving it. I once was in your boat: I thought that it was okay, just fine, to abuse your body, if you did it for God (Love), that is, to help others.
But I killed the body. In fact, it died twice. And it was revealed to me, in the afterlife state, that voluntarily pushing your body to extremes, beyond its moderate limits, is an act of torture that can grow into an act of murder!
So, no matter what else you have to do, no matter what rules you must break, no matter whom you must disappoint or let down, no matter if you must change occupations, you must cut back your hours. The Goddess is never unreasonable: She asks us to do our very best, all the time. But especially the energy of scorpio will try to drive us to go beyond our best!
This is, by definition, impossible. So, Love never asks this of us. It is never selfishness to make the body Priority One. Yes, it is more important, when it is suffering, than the very real needs of others. For if it fails, you cannot give aid or assistance to anyone!
So, no matter what the cost or inconvenience, you have been pushed into making this decision: Decide for your body, not against it. For the body makes a wonderful friend, but a nightmarish and terrible "enemy." Make friends with it; it can be your best friend if you do not continue to abuse it.
Schedule regular periods of rest, relaxation, meditation, listening to quiet music, reading-- to be Priority One events. Everything else must come second. Insist, and do not give up, on cutting back on your cases.
(You will serve each client so much better.:)
These are not simply healthy suggestions. They are the results of personal intuition that tells me that your biophysical system is near the shattering-point. If this selfabuse continues, you will reap a nightmare whirlwind of karma. Some biological disasters can severely cripple you, and these are often irreversible or incurable. It is said that, if you do not listen to the gentle teacher, the harsh teacher stands just around the next corner; he holds a wooden four-by-four in this hands, and he is ready to smack you, hard, like a batter hitting a ball! But, right now, you can avoid much of the agony (and it is severe and unforgiving) of the harsh teacher by listening to the gentle teacher.
Trust. Have faith. You are not "indispensable." The cosmos continued just fine without your present form, for billions of years. After you leave the earth, it will continue for billions more. Do not follow the ego here, for it will lie and say to you, "You must keep doing all your work, for no one else can do it." Foolishness! Thousands of others can do it! And, in the short term, the cosmos is teaching you to delegate responsibility. For, ultimately, you are responsible for the spiritual success and growth into Love of one person only: And that is you. And you are failing the test!

More Perfectionism
*******
It is very, very good to unmask perfectionism for the destructive, sabotaging "demon" that it truly is.
For it is no servant of God (Love), but the "devil" (fear). It pushes us away from Love, especially a special type called "selflove," thus edging that part of God out of our lives. Of course, God never abandons or leaves any life, not even for a nanosecond. If this impossibility occurred, that life would cease immediately, that mind disappear. But, in all the history of all the universe, no mind, once created, has ever been de-created, even though several minds have required major reconstruction (education) in Love.:)

Taking Selflove Seriously: Your Donkey
*******
Eating "comfort foods" is a very common way to "nutritionally self-medicate." But it is a poor way to support Love for your body, as they actually create harmful biochemical changes while "hiding" under "good" tastes. The senses, in this case, are very unreliable, and are serving the lower nature (the humanimal biomind), not the interests of the self or the higher Self.
You need to adjust the portions in your meals. Try to make them smaller, but still tasty and attractive. Suddenly to rip away all unhealthy foods might be a shock to the system, and might sabotage your efforts in the long run. (You might have very strong cravings for them.) So, keep one or two in your diet; but make it an infrequent (weekly) treat; you will look forward to it, and enjoy it so much more than ever before!
There is no such thing as the illusion of "lean" meat. All meat contains dangerous fats and highly perilous toxins. Some meats contain up to 2300 of these toxins, which can affect metabolism while setting up a toxicity-response in the body. Still, you need to get about 45 grams of protein daily. Try to derive this from milk, eggs, some nuts, cheeses, and a wide plethora of very yummy soy-products (including several types of burger, bacon, hot dogs, sausage, etc.) This makes great eating very easy!
From the teeth to the acidity of saliva, to the stomach-acid and intestinal tract, the human body is designed exactly like the bodies of other herbivores. In these important digestive areas, it bears no resemblance to the systems of carnivores. That is why fat, largely from cows and pigs, is so deadly to the cardiovascular system.
If we fed human beings with all the grain grown in this country, starvation would disappear! But instead, a full 90% of all American grains go to feed cows and pigs, so that we can have our burgers and bacon!
You can best love your donkey (body) buy feeding it the wonderful smorgasbords of delicious fruits, vegetables, and grains that nature provides in such abundance. No one needs meat to live; if anyone says that she does, she reveals only an abysmal nutritional ignorance.
Some meats literally rot in the stomach, and might take three to four days fully to rot. There is a reason that we find this picture repellant!
So, the cosmos is now offering you the greatest opportunity, one that might never again come your way: Do the very best thing that you can do for Sister Donkey, give her the best gift, by becoming a veggie! You will be glad, for the rest of a longer life, that you did!
Also, keep exercise moderate, in the beginning. Do not push or pull your muscles; and do not force them to strain. Do more reps on lighter weights, rather than fewer on heavier ones. You want to "up" the heartbeat moderately. Work out until your donkey says "enough." Stop then, and do not push yourself. Push yourself perhaps to the point of deep breathing, maybe light panting, but try not to do too much on your first visits. For if you overdo it on the first visit, there might not be a second. You will grow, in time, to love working out! It makes you feel great!
Please keep me posted re your progress.
