Prayers Continue, and Funds on the Way

This is a note to our friend in Kenya:

022509wed

Dear Tom,

Life on this earth brings us some major challenges. If possible, the lower nature of fear would destroy our faith; but we must never give up our belief in our Lord of Love. We continue to pray for you and for the dear and precious orphans in your tender care. You can be sure that Love will richly bless you, no matter what happens, and no matter how great your need might appear.

We are very sorry to hear that tragedy has struck your country (Kenya), and your ministries to the poor. We truly do want to send another donation to Love Ministries of Kenya, to aid the extremely poor orphans, and also to support your fine house-church. But our readers and friends have not yet responded to our latest call for funds, and we are still awaiting the response of Love in their hearts. We have started another fund-collection campaign, and hope that it is successful during the month of March, as it was not in February. So, as soon as we can gather the funds, we will send along a money-order, as soon as possible. I truly wish that we had more funds, but they will come as Love (God) provides.

Exchange of Love

*******

I am delighted, excited, and very happy that you are spreading the good word about the house-churches [in Kenya]! We are sure and certain that our Lord of Love will richly bless you as you seek to help his children here on earth. For helping other people is the only "worship" that is acceptable to the Spirit of Love, our wonderful God and Father. We will be delighted to share your warm Love with our friends at our house-church here in the U.S., and we are happy to assist you in any way possible. If you, or anybody else, has any questions, just please send me an email, and I will be glad to reply.:)

The Poorest People in the World

*******

Dearest Friends of the Heart,

Recently, you, our dearest friends, have responded with the Love of God to a request to give aid to the poorest people on our planet-- orphans in the third world, made homeless and hopeless by the horrific violence of wars based on greed. The gross evil that these kids have seen is partly compensated by your Love for them. This is how God (Love) gains victory over fear on our tiny nanoplanet.

We are personally and deeply, sincerely grateful for whatever aid that you have been able to give. Please keep in mind that donations as small as three dollars can make a real difference. In order to keep you posted, we plan a public acknowledgment of our givers, periodically, in the "Universal Love Digest."

By this generosity, you prove that your Love is genuine. For kindness is a real form of Love. This is a great way to help real people, and to give yoursjavascript:void(0)
Publish Postelf the only gift that really counts-- good karma! So, in alphabetical order, we wish to acknowledge our dear friends; we have received the following funds, as of 051308:

Anonymous $20
Stephen Doran $150
lmiusa $25
Tim McConnell $30
Kathy Moulton
and Boone Posey: $100
Alice Phillips: $25
Diann Proffitt $50

___________
Total, 052808: $400.

This fund was received at

Love Ministries
5100 Liberty-Fairfield Rd.
Hamilton, OH 45011.

It will be evenly distributed, one hundred percent of it, to our affiliates: Love Ministries of India, Love Ministries of Kenya, Love Ministries of Pakistan, Love Ministries of Tanzania, and Love Ministries of Uganda. This is the gift of bread, of life, to people who otherwise might have perished without hope in total desperation.

Again, thanks, dear friends. We will keep you alerted as the fund grows, by God's (Love's) working in and through you.

Love,

the Staff of Love Ministries USA

House-churches

*******

The first churches of Jesus Christ were very poor. We are also poor in the U.S. But we have discovered, by much serious research, that the earliest churches did not have "Church-buildings." Instead, they met in small groups, in homes of members. We have been gathering here at our home for nearly six years, and have had no problems. God does not want the church to get into debt. In fact, a church should handle as little money as possible, since "the love of money is a root of all evil," as the Scriptures say. So, do you have a home in which you could come together, and save your poor sisters and brothers the money needed for a church? We do not need churches; we need only the Spirit of Christ's Love in our hearts.:)

May the great and sweet Lord of gracious Love continue to bless you, and your work with Love Ministries in Kenya.:)
